Responsibilities of the Position

• Accounts Payable functions
• Aggressive collections calls
• Process customer AIA billings
• Process close out documents for projects
• Process partial and final waivers
• Process change orders on projects
• Process weekly check processing to vendors
• Maintain all W9 vendor forms
• Weekly Payroll-Quickbooks 50+ Employees
• Process monthly union reporting * Quarterly payroll tax reporting/filing
• Monthly bank reconciliations
• Financial statement analysis/review
• Debits/Credits – Journal Entries
• Monthly closing activities and prepare monthly general ledger, balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow statements and other summary reports Daily, weekly, and monthly financial reporting in Quickbooks.
• Assists the accountant with companies Audits
• Work with outside accountant to prepare year-end financial statements and tax returns.
• Assist with annual renewal of business insurance

Qualifications * At least 3 years of work experience in finance as a controller, accountant, or similar position.

• Expert with Quickbooks and Microsoft Excel a must
• Capable of taking real ownership of projects and seeing them through to completion
• Extremely detail oriented and comfortable managing multiple deadlines and priorities with little oversight
• General; knowledge of the construction industry, is a plus
• Ability to effectively manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously
• Prioritizes and organizes own work to meet agreed upon deadlines
• Possess good judgment and attention to detail
• Energetic and positive attitude
