Our client is looking for a full-time Sr. SAP Business Process Manager to lead and deliver a portfolio of solutions that enhance the capabilities offered to our business units. This individual leverages knowledge of SAP, purchasing, planning, inventory and warehousing processes to partner with our SAP IT & Global Operations team to drive technical solutions for the business. This role also works with the Operations team and local Business Process Owners to understand and influence the road map.

Responsibilities

 

  • Work with the Supply Chain, Operations, SAP IT Implementation Team, Global Operations, and the local Business units
  • Support identifying, managing and communicating overall road maps, timelines, resources and tasks related to Supply Chain projects, as well as ongoing business activities. This includes project oversight, project schedules, with status updates
  • Support and lead continuous improvement opportunities for purchasing, planning, inventory and warehousing processes, Actively engage with business partners and community members to collaborate and drive new continuous improvement projects.
  • Act as an expert for project teams leading efforts in troubleshooting support for the organization, with timely resolution of issues including SAP system enhancement identification/resolutions, enhanced training, etc.
  • Leads the development of training documentation with support from other teams
  • Lead solution designs implementation or enhancements, oversee and provide guidance on test plans and UAT
  • Mentors team members with SAP experience
  • Provides regular communication on overall roadmap, progress and timeline
  • Leads and manages a team of Business Process Leads & Managers

 

 

Ideal Requirements:
 

  • Strong business acumen and understanding of typical business processes is most important!
  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Information Systems, Business or Engineering.
  • Prior management experience
  • 8+ years of experience in supply chain or manufacturing environment
  • 8+ years of SAP implementation experience
  • Expert in SAP PP (Production Planning), MM (Materials Management), IM/ WM (Inventory/Warehouse Management), QM (Quality Management), Familiarity with SAP SD (Sales and Distribution), a must
  • Some project management experience
  • Ability to present complex information in a clear and precise manner with non-technical audience
  • Ability to capture business unit requirements and translate to technical specifications
  • Possess the skills to initiate, evaluate, develop, defend, and influence users on recommendations.
  • Ability to lead division-level projects/assignments with complexity and change management.
  • Ability to lead initiatives and motivate teams.
  • Can build relationships with business and technology stakeholders.
  • Ability to travel 25%
